Accountant
Graeme
Most business owners don’t start out because they love spreadsheets — they start because they are good at what they do. That is exactly why Graeme does what he does. With over 40 years’ experience as an accountant, he set up Hobbs Granger Roitt in 2008 to bring clarity to the financial side of running a business. Alongside accounts and tax, his real focus today is what he calls the Strategic Financial Partnership. By working closely with a small number of owner-managed businesses, Graeme helps them interpret their numbers, understand the implications, and make better-informed decisions throughout the year. He looks at cashflow, forecasting and performance, but more importantly uses that insight to support decisions around growth, investment, remuneration and future planning. In many ways, it’s ongoing financial counsel — without the need to employ a full-time Finance Director. The aim is simple: clarity, fewer surprises, and better decisions. For business owners who feel they may be making decisions slightly in the dark, or who would value a steady financial sounding board, Graeme is always happy to have a conversation.
